Robert M. Collins

I have served in all of the Avenues of Service at the club level as well as club Foundation Chairman for a number of years and Club President twice (1995-96 and 2002-03). I served as District Governor of District 6090 in Missouri USA in 1998-99. I have served as an officer and Board member of the multi-district Show Me Rotary PETS/SETS Planning Council in Missouri and currently serve as a member of the Planning Council of the Heartland PETS/SETS for Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Iowa. I served as a long time meber of the District 6080 Young Exchange Committee. Since moving to District 5650 in August of 2004 I have served as the DG’s Special Representative to organize and charter the Rotary Club of Council Bluffs Centennial, chartered on 30 June 2005. I am currently a member of Centennial. I currently serve as the District 5650 DGSC and Chairman of the District Fellowship Committee

I am a retired U.S. Army officer, having served in numerous stateside assignments as well as tours in Germany, Hawaii, Korea (twice) and a tour as an Infantry advisor to the Vietnamese Regional and Popular Forces in Phouc Tuy Province, South Vietnam.

My wife and I are multiple Paul Harris Fellows, Benefactors and Charter Members of the Bequest Society. My wife and I attended Rotary International Conventions in Indianapolis, San Antonio, Brisbane, Australia and Chicago. We have also participated in Rotary Friendship Exchanges to South Africa, Turkey and Croatia. We have three children, six grandchildren and two great grandsons.
