Thanks for the welcome. This is a new experience for me. I thought I would try it out and see how it went.
I have been a Rotarian since 1978 and am very active in my club, and as a District Friendship Exchange committee member for the last 5 years.
I hold the classification of Radio Engineering, and am now retired. I have had a lifelong interest in radio engineering and I suppose that is what led on to an interest in the Internet and ROTI.
I am a Past President of the Rotary Club of Fairfield - a very active club in Hamilton city. I have been involved in many projects within our District 9930, and in World Community Service projects in the South Pacific – especially Tonga. I look forward to reading your Breadbasket Bulletin as time goes by.
My wife and I enjoy travel and over the last few years have been fortunate enough to be part of Rotary Friendship Exchanges to Devon, D1010 Scotland and D9830 Tasmania.
Kind regards
Alan Jones
