Each year the club hosts a Christmas party for the residents of Bahay Bata,
our home and school for street children in Angeles City, Philippines. Some
children in the immediate impoverished are also invited. More may be seen

The President’s Report – December 18th, 2007 Our Xmas Party was a hugh success, with our Master of Ceremonies Sir Erling who did a great job! We had over 300 kids from Cuayan, Anunas and the Rotary that enjoyed watching Santa Claus come in with our Police escort and his sleigh full of presents. We thought we weren’t going to have enough, but as luck would have it, and the Good Lord looking after us, we handed the last present to the last kid standing in line. Our school children’s Christmas Program was both powerful and highly entertaining. There was plenty of good food and drink for everyone. For the Rotarians and staff there were Special Treats provided by Rtns Mark and Erling inside the Admin Bldg. Each child received a food bag to take home. Its events like this that really ring in the true meaning of the Holiday Spirit and why we are all so involved with the Bahay Bata Center. The happy faces on all of the children were ‘priceless.’ The Learning Center’s Xmas Party will be held on December 19th and it will be handled by Dean Bognot of AUF for the students and their families. There will be about 35 teachers and students from AUF attending, bringing gifts to our students. It will be a nice tribute for our students and teachers for all of the hard work and accomplishments they were able to achieve during their school semester. Let me take this opportunity, on behalf of all Rotarians of Clark Centennial and the RCCC Foundation members, to express our deepest gratitude to all of the wonderful people who have taken the time to make sure that our kids enjoy their Christmas. Please accept our sincerest and heart-felt thanks for all that you’ve done and continue to do for our children at the Center. Things are kind of winding down for the Holidays and this will be our last meeting until Jan 7th, 2008. I personally wish to thank my Board of Directors for all of the hard work and time that they have contributed in seeing our projects through and continuing the good work of our Club.
